To remove a file in Linux, use the ‘rm‘ command.
The syntax for this command is as follows:
$ rm filename
If you want to remove multiple files, you can list them after ‘rm‘ separated by a space. For example:
$ rm file1 file2 file3
To remove a directory, use the ‘rmdir‘ command. The syntax for this command is as follows:
$ rmdir directoryname
