To get certificates for your CAC card on a Mac, you will need to download the “DoD Root Certificate Authority” from the Apple App Store. Once that has been installed, you will need to use the “Certificate Assistant” application found in the Keychain Access app to install the certificates that are on your CAC card. You can do this by inserting your CAC card into the card reader and then launching the Certificate Assistant application. Once you have installed the certificate, you can use the Keychain Access app to view the certificates that you have installed.
