1. Ensure that all necessary network cables are connected to the computer and network devices.
2. Install the necessary drivers for the network adapter.
3. Open the Network and Sharing Center.
4. Select the Change Adapter Settings option.
5. Right-click the network adapter and select Properties.
6. Select the Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) option.
7. Enter the network address, subnet mask, and default gateway.
8. Select the Obtain an IP Address Automatically option.
9. Select the Obtain DNS Server Address Automatically option.
10. Select the Advanced option and enter the preferred and alternate DNS server addresses.
11. Click OK to save the changes.
12. Reboot the computer.
