1. Open the Server Manager.
2. Select Features in the left pane.
3. Click “Add Features” in the right pane.
4. Select “Telnet Client” and click “Next”
5. Click “Install” and wait for the installation to complete.
6. Once complete, Telnet will be enabled on your Windows Server 2008 R2.
