Port channel (also known as etherchannel or link aggregation) is a network port that bundles multiple physical network ports together to create a single, logical connection. It allows multiple physical links between two network devices to be combined into one logical link, offering greater bandwidth and redundancy. It also provides fault tolerance by allowing traffic to be rerouted in case of link failure.
