Hyper-Threading is a technology developed by Intel that allows a single physical processor to act like two separate processors, providing increased performance and responsiveness. Hyper-Threading works by allowing each processor core to have two threads, or sets of instructions, running at the same time. When a processor core is idle, the other thread can take over and complete the task, thus increasing the efficiency of the processor and allowing it to complete more tasks in less time.
