DDR3 laptop RAM stands for Double Data Rate 3 synchronous dynamic random–access memory. It is a type of memory module used in computers, laptops, and other electronic devices. DDR3 laptop RAM is the latest generation of DRAM that significantly increases data transfer rates over its predecessor, DDR2 RAM. DDR3 allows data to transfer in two directions—reading and writing—at the same time. This RAM offers much more space than its predecessor, allowing laptop users to store more data on their device. It also runs faster, giving laptops improved performance.
