Network technicians are responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining computer networks, including wide area networks (WANs), local area networks (LANs), and wireless networks. They also monitor networks’ security parameters and assess its performance. In addition, network technicians can configure systems and applications, manage network devices, and diagnose and resolve technical issues.
