Lymphatic capillaries are small, thin-walled vessels that are part of the lymphatic system. They are the smallest vessels of the lymphatic system and their main role is to absorb fluids and proteins that have leaked from the cardiovascular system and return them to the circulation. They are also involved in the transport of immune cells and waste products away from tissues.
