Wi–Fi 2.4 GHz has a longer range than the 5 GHz frequency and can penetrate solid objects, making it better suited for large homes or offices with thick walls. On the other hand, the 5GHz frequency is faster and less prone to interference, making it better suited for high–traffic networks and applications such as streaming video or gaming.
Wifi 2.4 and 5 are both wireless networking standards, but they operate using different radio frequencies. Wifi 2.4 uses the 2.4GHz frequency, while Wifi 5 uses the 5GHz frequency. Wifi 5 is much faster than Wifi 2.4, and it is better at avoiding interference from other wireless devices. Wifi 5 also has a longer range than Wifi 2.4.
