A logic design engineer is an engineer who specializes in the design, development, and implementation of electronic systems that use a specific type of computer circuit called a logic design. These systems are used in many different areas such as industrial automation, communication systems, and consumer electronics. A logic design engineer must be proficient in computer–aided design (CAD) software, and have a good understanding of mathematics, signal processing, computer architecture and microcontrollers
A Logic Design Engineer is a type of engineering professional who specializes in designing digital circuits such as microprocessors, chipsets and other types of digital devices. They are responsible for creating the logic diagrams, schematics and symbols that define how a digital device or system will function. Logic design engineers must have a keen understanding of software, hardware and mathematics to be able to design and debug digital systems and integrate them into larger or more complex systems.
