1. Log in to your router‘s configuration page. This can be done by entering the IP address of your router into a web browser.
2. Select the option for network settings, which can vary depending on the make and model of your router.
3. Locate the DHCP server or similar feature that allows you to assign static IP addresses.
4. Enter the IP address you want to reserve and enter a description or label to identify it.
5. Choose a MAC address that you want to assign to the device and click “save“ to confirm the settings.
6. Reboot your router to ensure the new settings are properly applied and then reconnect the device to the router using the newly assigned IP address.
