1. Log into the router’s web interface by entering the router’s IP address into your web browser’s address bar.
2. Enter the username and password for your router. This information can be found in the router‘s user manual.
3. Once logged in, navigate to the Security section of the web interface.
4. Select the type of authentication to use. This is often called “local” or “authentication type.”
5. Enter the desired password into the provided field and then click “Save Settings.” Your new password will now be active.
