1. Unpack your router.
2. Connect the modem to the internet port of the router using an Ethernet cable.
3. Connect your computer to one of the four LAN ports on the back of the router, using an Ethernet cable.
4. Power on the router and wait for it to boot up. This may take a few minutes.
5. Open your web browser and type in the address of your router’s administration page (usually this is 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1).
6. When prompted, enter the default username and password. If you have changed these previously, enter the credentials you created instead.
7. Follow the instructions on the router’s administration page to set up your wireless network.
8. Once the setup is complete, you should be able to connect to your wireless network from any device with Wi–Fi capabilities.
