1. Log in to your router’s web-based setup page.
2. Look for a wireless settings page, and then look for the SSID (wireless network name).
3. Change the SSID to something different from the default name (for example, change “Linksys” to “Network123”).
4. Look for a setting that says “SSID Broadcast” and select “Disable”.
5. Save the settings and reboot your router.
