To change your network connection speed from 100mbps to 1gbps, you will need to check your network adapter settings. Depending on your hardware and operating system, this can be done in either the Network Connections applet in Control Panel or the Device Manager. Once you have located the settings for your network adapter, you can then adjust the speed to 1gbps. You may also need to adjust the duplex settings to match the new speed.
Unfortunately, you can‘t change the speed of your connection directly in Windows 10. You will need to contact your internet service provider and inquire about upgrading your current plan to a 1Gbps connection.
