To change the default RDP port on a Windows Server 2016, open the Control Panel and go to System and Security > System > Remote Settings. From there, you can click the “Select Remote Port” radio button and enter the port you would like to use as the default. Once you have entered the new port, click the “Apply” button and then the “OK” button to save the changes.
