1. Click the Windows Start button and select Control Panel.
2. Click the Network and Internet link.
3. Click the Network and Sharing Center link.
4. Click the Change adapter settings link in the left window pane.
5. Right-click the Local Area Connection icon and select Properties from the menu.
6. Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) from the list of connection items.
7. Click the Properties button.
8. Select Use the following DNS server addresses option.
9. Enter the new preferred and alternate DNS server address you want to use.
10.Click the OK button and then the Close button to make the changes take effect
