1. Open the Windows Service Manager by pressing Windows+R then typing “services.msc” and press enter.
2. In the service manager, locate and double-click on the service account you want to check.
3. Click on the Log On tab.
4. If the account is set to log on as a specific user, the user name will be displayed in the Account Name field. You can then get the password for this account by using the appropriate method outlined below.
5. If the account is set to log on as a local system, network service or built-in account, the password cannot be viewed. You must reset the password for these types of accounts.
