To check if the telnet service is running on your Linux machine, open your terminal and type the command “netstat -an | grep telnet”. This command will list all the active telnet connections on your system. If the telnet service is running, you will see a line with “tcp” and “LISTEN” in it. If the telnet service is not running, you will see an empty result.
