To configure AAA on a Cisco router, perform the following steps:
1. Create an AAA server group to list the authentication, authorization, and accounting (AAA) servers.
2. Configure authentication methods such as local authentication, RADIUS, or TACACS+.
3. Configure authorization methods such as command authorization or EXEC view authorization.
4. Configure accounting methods such as packet–level accounting or system–level accounting.
5. Apply AAA parameters to the connection to the protected resources.
6. Test the configuration by authenticating a user.
