1. Open the Start menu and select Settings.
2. Select Network and Internet.
3. On the left–side menu, select Change adapter options.
4. Right–click the Wi–Fi or Ethernet connection and select Properties.
5. Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4).
6. Select Properties.
7. Select Use the following IP address and enter the details of your static IP address.
8. Select Use the following DNS server addresses and enter the details of your DNS server.
9. Select OK.
10. Close the window to save the changes.
