1. Locate the Ethernet port on the back of the Xbox 360 console and plug the Ethernet cable into it.
2. Plug the other end of the Ethernet cable into a router, modem, or gateway.
3. Turn on the Xbox 360 console and press the Guide button on your controller.
4. Select “Settings,” then “Network Settings.”
5. Select “Wired Network” or “Wireless Network” depending on your connection type.
6. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the connection.
7. Once the connection is established, you can test your connection by going to the “System” tab and selecting “Network Settings.”
8. If the connection to the network is successful, you will see your connection status listed as “Connected.”
