To connect an iPad to the internet, you will need a wireless network or a cellular data plan. To connect to a wireless network, open the iPad’s settings and select Wi-Fi. Find the network you would like to connect to and enter the password, if necessary. To activate a cellular data plan, go to the settings and select Cellular Data. Follow the prompts to enter your plan information and activate the plan.
