1. Connect the PC to the switch in Cisco Packet Tracer by dragging the PC icon onto the switch icon.
2. Right-click the connection between the PC and the switch and select “Ethernet.”
3. Right-click the connection again, and select “Properties.”
4. Enter the IP address for the PC, the subnet mask, and the default gateway for the PC in the appropriate fields.
5. Click “OK.”
6. Repeat steps 1-4 for any additional PCs that you wish to connect to the switch.
7. Right-click the switch and select “Configure.”
8. Enter the IP address, subnet mask, and default gateway for the switch in the appropriate fields.
9. Click “OK.”
10. Right-click the switch and select “Start.”
11. The PCs should now be able to communicate with each other.
