1. Press the Windows Key + X and select Control Panel from the menu.
2. Select Network and Internet.
3. Select Network and Sharing Center.
4. Select Set up a new connection or network.
5. Select Manually connect to a wireless network.
6. Enter the network name (SSID), select the security type, enter the security key/passphrase, and then click Next.
7. Click Close when the connection is successful.
1. From the Start screen, search for wireless. Select the Network and Sharing Center option from the search results.
2. In the Network and Sharing Center window, select the Set up a new connection or network option.
3. Choose Manually connect to a wireless network.
4. Enter the network name (SSID) of the wireless network you want to connect to.
5. Under Security Type, choose the type of security used by your wireless network.
6. Enter the security key or passphrase to connect to the wireless network.
7. Click Connect.
