1. Connect to your router‘s web–based interface. To do this, open an internet browser and type in the IP address of your router. The default IP address is usually printed on the bottom or side of the router–if not just search for your router‘s model and default login information.
2. Enter the username and password for your router. If you haven‘t changed these, the default username is often “admin”, and the password is often “password” or blank. If you have changed the credentials, enter your custom username and password.
3. Locate the DHCP settings menu. This varies by router model, but it is typically located in the Wireless Settings or the LAN settings.
4. Select the Enable DHCP checkbox, and then click Save settings to apply the settings.
5. Reboot your router by turning it off and then back on again. This will ensure that the changes take effect.
