1. Connect your Airport Extreme to your existing modem/router using an Ethernet cable.
2. Open the AirPort Utility app on your Mac and select your Airport Extreme from the list of devices.
3. Select “Create a wireless network” and enter a name for the network.
4. Choose a security type and enter a password.
5. Select the “Extend a wireless network” option.
6. Choose the existing wireless network you would like to extend.
7. Enter the password for that network.
8. Click “Update” to save the settings and restart the Airport Extreme.
9. Unplug the Ethernet cable from the modem/router and the Airport Extreme.
10. Your Airport Extreme is now extended and ready to go. Enjoy!
