To find out where sound is coming from on Mac, you can use the Audio MIDI Setup utility to view the input and output device connections. To open Audio MIDI Setup, launch the “Finder” on the Mac and go to “Applications” > “Utilities” > “Audio MIDI Setup”. Once Audio MIDI Setup is open, you can view the output and input devices connected to the Mac. You can also select the “System Preferences” from the Apple menu and then click on the “Sound” icon to open the Sound preferences. On the Sound preferences window, you can view the input and output devices connected to the Mac.
