1. Open System Preferences > Network and select the Ethernet connection.
2. Click the “Advanced” button.
3. Select the “TCP/IP” tab.
4. Change the Configure IPv4 settings dropdown to “Using DHCP with manual address”.
5. Enter in an IP address, subnet mask, and router details. These details can be obtained from your Internet Service Provider (ISP).
6. Click Ok and then Apply.
