1. Open the Group Policy Editor.
2. Navigate to the Computer Configuration > Windows Settings > Security Settings > Account Policies > Password Policy.
3. Double-click on the Maximum Password Age policy and set the number of days you’d like users to be forced to change their passwords.
4. Double-click on the Enforce Password History policy and set the number of unique passwords users will be required to use.
5. Select the “Enabled” radio button for the “Password must meet complexity requirements” policy.
6. Click “OK” to save the changes and close the Group Policy Editor.
7. Force Group Policy to refresh by running the command “gpupdate /force” in the command prompt.
