1. Log in to your router’s web interface by entering its IP address into your web browser’s address bar.
2. Navigate to the port forwarding section. This section usually goes by a name such as “Port Forwarding“, “Applications and Gaming“, or “Virtual Servers“.
3. Create a new port forwarding entry. Configure the fields as follows:
• Name/Service: Enter a descriptive name for this entry (e.g. UDP port 12345)
• Protocol: Select the UDP option
• External Port Range: Enter the port number you wish to forward, for example 12345
• Internal Port: Enter the same port number
• IP Address: Enter the IP address of the device you wish to forward ports to
• Status: Enable
4. Save your changes and restart your router. Your port will be open and ready to use.
