1. Log in to your VPN provider’s website, and open the control panel.
2. Find the “port forwarding” section, and select the protocol type you want to use.
3. Enter the internal IP address of the device you want to forward the port to.
4. Select the port you want to forward.
5. Enter the external IP address of the router (often the VPN provider’s external IP address).
6. Click “save” or “apply” to complete the port forwarding request.
7. Test the port forwarding by accessing the device from the internet.
