To remove thermal paste from CPU pins, you can use isopropyl alcohol and a cotton swab. Dip the cotton swab into the isopropyl alcohol and gently rub the thermal paste off of the pins. Be sure to use a light touch and avoid pushing the pins down. Once all the thermal paste has been removed, clean the pins with a dry cloth or cotton swab to remove any traces of the alcohol.
