1. First, determine the IP address that needs to be routed.
2. Log into a router or computer with access to the network.
3. If using a router, enter the command prompt and type in “route add [IP address] [netmask] [gateway]”
4. The gateway should already be configured and is typically the IP address of the router.
5. If using a computer, open the Network Connections window and right click on the connection being used.
6. In the General tab, click the Advanced button and enter the IP address you wish to route in the IP settings section.
7. Click OK to save the new settings.
8. Finally, test the IP routing by performing a ping test to make sure it’s successful.
