1. Log into your router‘s administrative console. Your router‘s administrative console is accessed through a web browser. The URL is usually found in the product manual or on the bottom of the router itself.
2. Navigate to the “Network“ tab and select the “LAN“ settings.
3. In the LAN settings, change the IP address from an automatically assigned address to a static IP address.
4. Enter the IP address you want to use for the router. Make sure it is a valid IP address that doesn‘t conflict with another device on the network.
5. Save your changes and reboot the router.
6. Once the router has been rebooted, verify that the IP address has been set as a static IP address.
