1. Open the Control Panel by pressing the Windows key + X, then selecting Control Panel.
2. Select the Network and Sharing Center option.
3. Click Set up a new connection or network.
4. Select Set up a wireless ad hoc (computer-to-computer) network.
5. Enter the Network Name (SSID), Security type and Security Key/Passphrase.
6. Click Next.
7. Select the Save this network option.
8. Click Close.
9. Now you should be able to see the wireless network in the list of available networks. Select it and connect using the previously entered security key/passphrase.
