To prevent your Mac from sleeping, you can go to System Preferences and select Energy Saver. Under the “Computer Sleep” option, select “Never”. Another way to prevent your Mac from sleeping is to open Terminal and type “caffeinate” followed by the enter key. This will prevent your Mac from sleeping until you type “Ctrl + C” to exit.
