1. Locate the power button. The power button is typically located on the upper right side of the Mac, just above the optical drive.
2. Press and hold the power button for a few seconds. You will hear a chime sound, indicating that the Mac has started up.
3. If you have a Mac with an LCD display, you may need to press the brightness or display button on the keyboard to turn the display on.
4. If you have a Mac with a built-in keyboard, press the “Fn” key along with the brightness key to turn the display on.
5. If you have a Mac with an external display, press the power button on the display to turn it on.
6. Log in with your username and password to complete the startup process.
