1. Open the Start Menu and type Control Panel into the search box.
2. Select Network and Internet from the list of options.
3. Click on the Network and Sharing Center icon.
4. Click on Change Adapter Settings on the left side of the window.
5. Right–click on your active network connection and select Properties.
6. Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and then click the Properties button.
7. Click the radio button next to Obtain an IP address automatically and then click OK.
8. Close the Network Connections window and you should now be connected to the internet via DHCP.
