    To convert binary number into decimal, first write down the binary number. Starting from the right, assign each digit a power of 2 that corresponds to its position in the number. For example, the rightmost digit is the 1s place, the second digit from the right is the 2s place, and so on. Then, add up all the terms.

    For example, to convert 10101 to decimal, start from the right.

    1s = 1
    2s = 2
    4s = 4
    8s = 8

    Therefore, 10101 in binary is 21 in decimal.

    1. Gather the necessary tools and materials. You will need a flat head screwdriver, an RJ45 cable tester, two RJ45 cables, an RJ45 crimping tool, and a pair of scissors or cable cutters.

    2. Cut off any excess length from the RJ45 cables. Make sure to leave enough length to connect the cables to the two devices you want to network together.

    3. Strip off about 1 inch of the cable jacket from the ends of both cables.

    4. Separate the individual wires of each cable, and then untwist them, so you can arrange them in the correct order for the cross-over cable.

    5. Arrange the wires of one cable in the following order: Orange, Green, Blue, Brown, White, Red.

    6. Arrange the wires of the other cable in the following order: Green, Orange, Brown, Blue, Red, White.

    7. Twist the wires in each cable together, so that the individual wires of each cable are securely connected to their respective wires in the other cable.

    8. Carefully slide the RJ45 connectors over the ends of the cable, making sure that the wires are not displaced.

    9. Use the crimping tool to crimp the connectors onto the cables.

    10. Plug the cable into the RJ45 tester to make sure the cable is wired correctly.

    11. Plug the cross-over cable into the two devices you want to network together.
