1. Point–to–point: Direct communication between two devices.
2. Multi–drop: A group of devices connected to one master device.
3. Broadcast: A message sent to all connected devices.
4. Mesh: All the devices are interconnected and can accept and send data.
5. Ring: Data travels around the network in a loop.
6. Star: All the devices are connected to a central hub.
7. Tree/Hierarchical: A hierarchical structure with multiple levels of nodes.
8. Hybrid: Any combination of the above mentioned topologies.
