1. Input: Receiving data from the user or from an external source (ex. keyboards, scanners, etc.).
2. Processing: Manipulating and calculating data according to a set of instructions (programs).
3. Output: Presenting the processed information in the form of visual images (monitors), audio sound (speakers) and/or printed documents (printers).
4. Storage: Saving data for future retrieval or updating.
