A data center typically consists of computer servers, storage systems, and associated equipment that help store and manage large amounts of data. It is essentially a physical facility where computing and storage resources are housed and networked together to enable the sharing of data. Data centers often have physical infrastructure, such as raised floors, cooling systems, and fire suppression systems, designed specifically to enable them to hold large amounts of equipment. Additionally, data centers often have numerous security measures in place, such as cameras and access control systems, to keep personnel and data safe.
