The client-server model is a distributed application structure that partitions tasks or workloads between the providers of a resource or service, called servers, and service requesters, called clients. The client-server model is one of the most common ways to structure network communications, allowing multiple clients to take advantage of centralized data with relatively low cost and complexity.
