A DB15 connector, commonly known as a VGA connection, is a type of computer input device which is used to connect a monitor, printer, or other visual display device to a computer. This connector has 15 pins arranged in three rows and is usually color coded either purple, blue, or black. The original purpose of the DB15 connector was to transmit analog video data between computers, however it has since been adapted to carry digital data as well.
