DHCP options are special settings that can be configured on a DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) server for a particular network. They allow the server to provide additional information to clients, such as IP address, subnet mask, and other parameters, as well as to control how appropriate attributes are handled by the DHCP server, such as the lease duration and network gateway.
