LSTM (Long Short-Term Memory) is a type of recurrent neural network that is capable of learning long-term dependencies. This type of neural network is well-suited to tasks such as natural language processing and speech recognition, where sequences of words must be remembered over long periods of time. LSTM networks contain special units called memory cells that maintain the state of the network over time and help preserve long-term dependencies.
