NAT (Network Address Translation) filtering is a firewall technique used to control network traffic by mapping an internal network’s private IP addresses to one or more public IP addresses. This technique hides the internal IP addresses from the external network, making the internal network more secure. Additionally, NAT filtering can also be used to control incoming and outgoing traffic and to restrict access to certain web content.
